Meetashi graduated from NIFT New Delhi in 1990 – the second batch to graduate out of this prestigious institution. With fashion in her DNA, thanks to a flamboyant father from the garment export world and a creatively gifted mother, her design and style sensibilities are innate. She ran a successful Indian womenswear label Yasacandra as well as nurtured future talent as visiting faculty at top institutes of the country namingly NIFD, SOFT and FAD. She further contributed trend and styling advice columns in leading publications. 

All the while, for the last 21 years, she has been nurturing her passion for working with earth stones. She finds the cold edges, the malleability and the striking colour of silver inspiring. Meetashi’s love for silver speaks through the fluid ease and confidence with which she expresses her ideas through her breathtaking designs. She believes that style is unique and inimitable.
