Refund policy

  1. This separate presentation of a provision of the Terms of Use (“Terms”) governing the usage of Ashtar Shining LLP’s website or any purchase therefrom is provided solely for your convenience. The provision is an integral part of and must be interpreted in accordance with and in conjunction with the Terms of the Website available at https://ashtar.in/policies/terms-of-service. In case of any inconsistency, the Terms shall prevail.
  2. Return and/or exchange requests shall be permitted strictly on a one-time basis per order, regardless of the number of items purchased under such order. Subsequent requests for return or exchange in respect of the same order shall not be entertained under any circumstances.
  3. Ashtar Shining LLP does not accept returns of products except in cases of defective/damaged products and only after you have fully complied with these Terms. Ashtar Shining LLP does not offer any returns or exchanges for size related discrepancies. 
  4. No refund, replacement, or re-delivery shall be issued for international orders under the following circumstances: (a) Where an incorrect, incomplete, or outdated delivery address is provided by the customer; (b) Where delivery fails due to the unavailability of the recipient, refusal to accept the package, or failure to comply with applicable import or delivery requirements; or (c) any other circumstance as may be determined by Ashtar Shining LLP, in its sole discretion. In all such cases, the risk of loss, non-delivery, or return shall rest solely with you, and any associated costs shall be borne exclusively by you. Ashtar Shining LLP shall not be liable for any such loss.
  5. A non-refundable processing fee of Rs. 500 shall be applicable to all approved return requests. Ashtar Shining LLP does not issue cash refunds for returned products. Upon successful processing of a return of a product, you may be entitled to receive store credit after deducting the processing fee of Rs. 500, which may be redeemed for future purchases on the Website.
  6. Any store credit issued by Ashtar Shining LLP shall be valid strictly for a period of fourteen (14) calendar days from the date of issuance. You shall be solely responsible for tracking the validity period and applying such credit within the designated time frame. Upon expiry, any unutilized credit shall automatically lapse without further notice, and Ashtar Shining LLP shall have no obligation to reinstate, extend, or refund such credit under any circumstances.
  7. Store credit may be applied only towards the listing price of eligible products available for sale through our website. Store credit shall not be applicable towards payment of shipping or delivery charges, customs duties, taxes, insurance, handling fees, or any other ancillary costs associated with the order. All such charges shall remain your sole responsibility. Store credit is non-transferable, non-exchangeable for cash or any monetary equivalent, and may not be combined with other offers unless explicitly allowed.
  8. All requests for returns and exchanges shall be initiated solely via Ashtar Shining LLP’s WhatsApp interface/website or any other interface designated for this purpose by Ashtar Shining LLP.
  9. Ashtar Shining LLP may, at its sole discretion, offer certain products that are eligible for customization. All such customized or made-to-order jewellery items are expressly excluded from the return, refund, or exchange policy.
  10. Accordingly, customized products shall not, under any circumstances, be eligible for return, replacement, or refund. You acknowledge and agree that by placing an order for a customized product, you waive any right to cancellation, return, or exchange of such product.

Defective and damaged products

  1. All parcels must immediately be opened in the presence of the courier upon receipt of the product/s, to verify that the product/s contained in the parcel are untampered with, undamaged and not defective. 
  2. If your purchase meets the return eligibility criteria as stated in these Terms, you are required to initiate the return process by contacting our customer care team strictly within forty-eight (48) hours of receipt of the product. The following information must be provided at the time of making such a request: (a) Order number; (b) Complete delivery address; and (c) A clear description of the reason for return. In cases involving a defective, damaged, or incorrect product, photographic evidence must be provided.
  3. Failure to adhere to this process and timeline shall result in the forfeiture of any right to return or exchange the product and Ashtar Shining LLP shall not be liable for the same. 
  4. Upon receipt of a valid return request, our internal Quality Check team shall inspect the product for claimed manufacturing defects or non-conformities. Based on the outcome of the verification, our customer service team will contact you with further instructions regarding the return process.
  5. The product must be received within 10 days from the date of advice by the Customer Service Department. Products must be returned in their original, unused, and unworn condition, with all original tags, certificates, packaging, and accompanying documentation intact. Ashtar Shining LLP reserves the right to reject any return that fails to meet these conditions, and no refund or exchange shall be issued in such cases.
  6. Our Quality Check team will verify the manufacturing defects, after that our customer service team will email or contact you for the necessary action.  
  7. You agree and acknowledge that if you fail to do this and subsequently find any defects whatsoever with the product/s, you will be solely liable for any such loss or damage and shall not be entitled to a refund or a replacement of the product. For the avoidance of doubt, any tarnishing or discoloration of the product(s) shall not be considered a defect or damage as stated herein. Notwithstanding what is stated in these Terms of Use, on acceptance of the order all your claims, if any, shall be waived, released and shall stand extinguished. 
  8. In the event that you receive a product that is defective or damaged, please contact our customer service team as per the details provided in the ‘contact us’ section on the website immediately upon receipt of the product. 
  9. Returns require the product to be unused, with all original tags attached and intact on the product. For any defects/damage upon receipt, a video recorded immediately, showing packaging, condition, and any issues, must be emailed to Ashtar Shining LLP. Returns of used, damaged products (without initial receipt video for damage claims) or those with missing original tags will be declined, and no refund shall be issued. Ashtar Shining LLP assumes no liability for non-compliant returns.
  10. After evaluating the defects/damage, if there are any, Ashtar Shining LLP may appropriately offer either store credit or replacement of the product if the situation so warrants, on such terms as it may deem fit. Replacement of the product is available only for orders that were shipped domestically within India. For international orders (i.e., shipped to destinations outside India) we are unable to offer replacement and can only offer store credit, provided you have complied with these Terms. Failure to comply with the requirements stipulated herein may render the return or exchange request ineligible for processing, at the sole discretion of Ashtar Shining LLP.

Cancellation and modification

  1. Orders may only be cancelled within a period of twenty-four (24) hours from the time the order was placed. No cancellation requests shall be entertained beyond this period. 
  2. For orders cancelled within twenty-four (24) hours from the time of placement of the order, you, subject to compliance with these Terms, may be eligible for a refund or a store credit equivalent to the product value (less any payment gateway transaction fees or processing charges or other charges of similar nature), as may be determined by Ashtar Shining LLP in its sole discretion. In cases of refund, the same shall ordinarily be processed to the original mode of payment used at the time of placing the order. This store credit or refund shall be issued to you within a period of 15-20 business days from the date on which the request was raised. In cases where refund processing through the original payment channel is delayed or rendered infeasible due to reasons beyond Ashtar Shining LLP’s control, we reserve the right to contact you for alternate payment instructions. Any refund timeline shall be subject to the processing timelines of the respective banks or payment service providers, and Ashtar Shining LLP shall not be liable for delays beyond its reasonable control.
  3. Orders may be modified prior to dispatch thereof. Once the order has been dispatched, no modification requests shall be permitted.
  4. Any approved modifications made prior to the dispatch of the order shall be refunded in the form of store credit.
